AMA at JaxState is the collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association at Jacksonville State University. We are students from every major who want real marketing experience before we graduate.
Members run live consumer research in the Martins Family Clothing Behavioral Lab, compete at the AMA International Collegiate Conference, learn from working professionals, and build a network that reaches well beyond campus.
We meet on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Merrill Hall 105. We do not meet every week; a full schedule is coming soon. Membership is open to students in every major.
To give every member real marketing work, real clients, and real feedback, so that students leave JaxState with a portfolio and a professional network, not just a transcript.
To be the chapter JaxState students point to when they talk about where they learned to lead, and the chapter employers call first when they need marketing talent in northeast Alabama.
AMA at JaxState members have priority student access to the Martins Family Clothing Behavioral Lab. Members design studies, test real advertising, and analyze what actually moves a consumer, then take that evidence into competition and into job interviews.
Our chapter attended the AMA International Collegiate Conference in 2025, where members met chapters from across North America and put their work in front of national judges.
Membership is open to students in every major. Come to a Monday meeting in Merrill Hall 105, or fill out the membership form and we will add you to the roster and the group chat.
